The La SCALA S.r.l. company started up in February 1997. The idea behind it came from a group of entrepreneurs from the sales sector of the hotel industry with thirty years' experience in the business, and in this short space of time it has managed to create a wide sales network both in Italy and abroad. The reason for this success has been its well-focused marketing strategy and precise technical and sales policies. The company's aim is not only to produce items linked to coffee-making machines, but it also includes the whole range of catering supplies. The demand for La SCALA products has compelled the company to set up a factory of 5,000 sq.m. covered area and 17,500 sq.m. uncovered in Noventa di Piave, facing the A4 motorway. The constantly changing market requires producers to commit themselves to continual development and the La SCALA team has an ongoing development program with qualified, expert technicians. The latest project to date is the application for ISO 9001:2000 certification, which will be obtained by the end of this year.
